TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT UNITS The PCM´s Technology Development Units offer a broad range of scientific services to research groups, hospitals and companies, designed to ensure that their activities meet the highest quality standards. In addition to this, the Technology Development Units develop scientific research projects in collaboration with other groups and encourage training both for technicians and Unit users. The Units serve as a meeting point for university and public scientific development and the technological demands of the private sector, optimising all the available resources in order to achieve competitive research. The highly qualified Unit teams employ the most advanced and innovative technology and equipment available for the fields of Genomics, Proteomics, Industrial Biontransformations, Molecular Interactions, Microanalysis of Materials and Bioinformatics.
